Lonely door to the Azure void

For the final project, we were allowed to paint whatever we wanted. I decided to paint an abstract world of eerie shapes to represent the isolation I felt during the fall semester of 2020 when I spent almost all day in my apartment due to quarantine. Inspiration for this painting came from two places: A six-hour-long album titled Everywhere At The End Of Time, and a horror game called Cry of Fear.

The final piece. Notice the figure standing at the doorway. Even though he wants to leave, he sees that there is nothing out there for him.
